What I worked on
Wasserstrom engineers and manufactures food service equipment for clients from the largest national restaurant chains to independent restaurants, and pricing custom orders accurately is a constant challenge.
My primary contribution was improving the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that generates quotes for custom orders. I spent more than 30 hours measuring the time required to construct specific parts of equipment, then organized and analyzed the observations into insights used in future project quoting.
I also acted as a bridge between the engineering and manufacturing teams, ensuring both teams on site had the drawings and resources they needed to start designing and building parts.
